Republican leadership is just as responsible for letting this crap get out of hand. Both they AND the Army should know better. The Army is paying now and I have faith that they will learn from this despite the current leadership.

The only fault our military bears is their allowing this fanatic coward in the army in the first place Why was he even promoted to Major? He took taxpayers money to get his medical training then cried when he was asked to fufill his obligation to serve his country. Is it time for the US military to start looking at Muslim soldiers as a security threat? I think it is apparent that this soldier put his religion in front of everything else - country, family, children, co-workers. Many Muslim men do the same and have proven so time and again. They're left alone because of "religious" freedom but the flaw is that Islam is a false religion. It is a cult of power and dominance, nothing more. Skinheads in the US Army would get a lot more attention from AI simply because "skinhead" isn't a religion but may be considered dangerous or a threat to military stability.

Well, I surmise that it’s safe to say that the moral of this story is that the military, from now on, should sure as hell take seriously and then also submit to the requests of Muslims who don’t want to be deployed in Iraq or Afghanistan!! Hell, yeah! The fact of this whole shebang is that the military is ultimately the only entity at fault—not Islam, not this Hasan (who, according to his cousin who talked to Shep Smith, is a fine American!)—because they could’ve stopped this if they just gave in to Hasan and stopped their tyrannical demands to make him honor his service obligation! F*ck you, US military! Also, let’s not forget that the military is the one that screws up these soldiers like Hasan in the first place by subjecting them to the horrors of war. Ironically, after brining death and destruction to poor, little Muslims the world over, the US military finally got its comeuppance when a Muslim infiltrator returned the favor! Karma? Earlier today, I spoke to a psychiatrist who worked very closely with Hasan and knows him very well. And he said, you know, from the beginning -and Hasan was there for four years - the medical staff was very worried about this guy. He said the first thing is he's cold, unfriendly. The psychiatrist says that he was very proud and upfront about being Muslim. he seemed almost belligerent about being Muslim, and he gave a lecture one day that really freaked a lot of doctors out.
