This is a wake-up call to all republicans. If you continue to act like democrats, we wont vote for you. There is a difference between the parties, the closer the republicans come to voting like democrats the harder we will push. Get back to your roots and become the conservatives that we have been voting for. No rhinos will be voted back in. This wasting our money, voting for the stimulus, cap and tax.... and we are talking about you Lindsey..... has put us over the top. The people will have their say, so , regroup and do what's right for the party.

It is a fact that the majority of the Republican Party opposed SSI and Medicare because they claimed that both were unsustainable financially. Given that this has proven to be true and by all accounts it will crush the value of the dollar and bankrupt our nation perhaps we should listen to them when they sound the alarm on Healthcare reforms lack of financial sustainability.

It should not be forgotten that the majority of Democrats voted against civil rights in the 50's and again in the 60s when it passed. JFK and Al Gores Daddy both voted against it. They also voted against the 13 and 14th amendment, created the Jim crow laws, ruled the south for a hundred years and manned the army of the KKK.

This is no problem, since it will take place in the Primaries, and let the best Republican candidate prevail. The NY 23rd is all hosed up because there was no primary and that caused the battle to take place once the actual race had begun.
