The phrase "Arab East Jerusalem" is a misnomer. It is not and in the past century never has been Arab, though many Arabs lived there alongside Jews and others until the Jews were forceably displaced when Jordan conquered the area in 1948. The area in question was never part of Jordan, yet it was integrated into Jordan despite the fact that it was designated an International City under United Nations rule by the partition plan adopted by the UN in 1967.

When Israel recovered the ancient Jewish city with its vibrant Jewish Quarter and Western Wall i 1967, it did not reciprocate the brutality of Jordan's expulsion of a millennia-old Jewish community, but extended Israeli citizenship on all occupants, Christians and Muslims alike, and unified city government. That is exactly the situation as it exists today.

When Arab sympathizers speak of Arab East Jerusalem, it sounds like a suburb, but it is really the core of the city, including all of the ancient walled capital of Judea and the site of the Jewish Temple destroyed by Rome in 72 CE, the most revered site in Jerusalem.

THIS IS WHY EVERY CHRISTIAN MUST SUPPORT ISRAEL ....
