Why does this always happen? The dad always (maybe not always)kills his family first and then himself. Why not just start by killing the one with the problem? Like himself first instead of his family. What a coward if I'm ever in North Carolina I will be sure to take a fat sh!t on his grave.
They are all in heaven playing harps right now. Right? If heaven is so grand than why bother living your life on earth? Deep inside, everyone knows that there is no afterlife. Man invented the concept.
What he may have been is not very important. What he has done shows clearly the conflicts hidden in people we think we know but never do. My regrets go to the remaining family at their great loss.
