Here we go. This is so typical. Say one thing while in a news conference with Israel and something entirely different in a news conference with the Arabs. Trying to appease both parties will not work. Taking this approach will not build confidence nor will it make us a trustworthy partner to either side. But, I am of the opinion that the Obama Administration thinks they can tell anyone anything and that we are stupid enough, or, dont care enough to see through it. Either that or they are going to force their agenda on us at all costs. It started last night and hopefully will continue in 2010 and 2012. Why does the U.S. continue, unsuccessfully, to interject itself into the problems of Israel and the rest of the Middle East? Christians, Jews and Muslims in that area have been fighting for that little scrap of land for thousands of years. Why do we think we can change the violence through negotiation and peace talks? Warring between these countries is terrible, but inevitable. Let the Middle East take care of their own problems. The U.S. has enough troubles right here at home.

Israel can do what they want on their land and no one has the right to tell what they can do within reason. Israel in their politics have appeased the Palestinians and Muslims in that region enough for peace by giving up land that they won in 2 wars and the Muslims in that region will not be happy until the country of Israel is no more . Everyone seems to forget that Hamas is dedicated to destroy Israel. Israeli soldiers are civilians fighting to protect their families, friends, colleagues and neighbours. They are not soldiers sent to fight in a foreign land for oil or whatever. They have been attacked by their Arab neighbours for the whole ofl their existence and before the State of Israel Arabs were killing Jews merely because they were Jews. What would you do in such a situation?
