Good for her! A truely selfless act where training and tenacity took over and saved lives.

She will now be the enemy of Islam. "57 States" was the answer Obama gave during his campaign, when stating how many states he had been to. There are 57 states, only the 57 states are not American States, they are Islamic States.

There will be no Medal for this officer from this President.

Q

Sounds like a massive failure, why did she let all those people die before she did anything?

Selfless act - yes - but also her job. Strange as it may seem, but not everyone at a military base carries a loaded weapon everywhere. In fact, the MP, SP, or AP (that's Military, Shore, or Air Patrol) are usually the ONLY ones authorized to carry loaded weapons at all times on base - everyone else may have a weapon - but the weapon is unloaded. The weapons are not loaded until they are being used for live-fire training at a range or for simulated combat training(usually blank rounds for the latter).
I do NOT dismiss her actions, I'm just saying that she was one of the few service members on base carrying a loaded weapon.
Many people have this assumption that everyone on a military base carry (or have) loaded weapons - or have them close at hand.
The military is very aware of "accidental discharge" or "friendly fire" possibilities - and do their best to limit any possibility of ANY weapon discharge at ALL times.

She will be lucky if Obama does not have her kicked out of the Army for shooting one of his kind. If he dies, BHO will call for HER execution.

Kimberly demonstrated that the best way to change a quranimal's mind is to put a bullet through his/her brain.

The only good quranimal is a dead quranimal.

I'm a liberal and I think what she did was the right thing to do and she should be considered a hero. Major Nidal Hasan was on his way to a graduation ceremony only a couple miles away from the base, and if she hadn't stopped him, many more could have been injured or killed. Just because some more "extreme" liberals bash her, does not mean that you have to rope us more sensible liberals into it.
I hate the fact that Major Hasan was a Muslim, because he is just giving Americans more reasons to hate the Muslim faith. I myself, do not have a religion, but I don't judge others who do based on what a select group of followers do. Blame them, not the whole religion and all those who have faith in it.

Who is Kimberly Munley? Dumb Question. Easy Answer. She is the real AMERICAN hero, that saved maybe hundreds of lives from what is now being called "the shrink that snapped." She, with absolutely NO regard for her own safety, entered the fray and stopped a madman from making an already bad situation much, much worse. She will probably disagree with any of us who would call her a hero, citing the other heroes in there that she could not save. She didn't cause that problem. An Arab terrorist did. In my book, she's a hero. I hope that she fully recovers from her injuries quickly. And I wish her well in all that she does. But the most important thing to say to her is a big THANK YOU.

Being a hero involves a lot more than doing ones job. This woman was brave, efficient, proficient, well-trained and in the right place to stop the shooter. A ton of medals, awards, cash, and accolades should be hers. A 'hero' , no. A perfect job performance, YES !. Lets save the term,'hero' for those extraordinary instances where a man or woman deliberately puts himself or herself in deadly circumstances to save anothers life or way of life. Bravo Kimberly.
