Mahmoud Vahidnia, Student, Stuns Iran By Criticizing Supreme Leader

BEIRUT — An unassuming college math student has become an unlikely hero to many in Iran for daring to criticize the country's most powerful man to his face.

Mahmoud Vahidnia has received an outpouring of support from government opponents for the challenge – unprecedented in a country where insulting supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is a crime punishable by prison.

Perhaps most surprising, the young math whiz has so far suffered no repercussions from the confrontation at a question-and-answer session between Khamenei and students at Tehran's Sharif Technical University.

In fact, Iran's clerical leadership appears to be touting the incident as a sign of its tolerance - LOL SEE THE NEWS MEDIA IS REPORTING NOO NOTHING IS HAPPENING TO HIM WE ARE TOLERANT......ABOUT AS TOLERANT AS OBAMA AND HIS HENCHMEN GIBBS,AYERS,AXELROD,ACORN,PELOSI,REID AND THE REST OF THE SCUMBAG DOUCHBAGS THAT USE THE BULLY PIT TO ATTACK THE COMMON AMERICANS EVERYDAY.HOW MANY TIMES IN THE NEXT MONTH IS THE ADMINISTRATION GOING TO SLUR EVERYDAY AMERICANS??? AT LEAST ONCE A DAY FOR SURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BIGOTS ONE AND ALL THAT IS WHY OBAMA STICKS WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quixie, please explain yourself. What is done daily by our current Administration? Where is your source for this claim? A reckless disregard for the truth does not belong here. This should be a place to discuss events and actions of those who are supposed to serve us using honesty and facts.

A man with nerves of steel to insult a supreme being, a leader of Iran that is actually an idiot. I wonder if the supreme leaders face was distorted in different shapes when this man stood up to him face to face.

IN WORLD WAR II, WE INTERNED JAPANESE BECAUSE WE WERE AT WAR WITH JAPAN.

THAT WASN'T REALLY FAIR OR NICE. BUT WE WERE CONCERNED THAT SOME PEOPLE OF JAPANESE ANCESTRY OR NATIONALITY MIGHT BE SPIES OR TERRORISTS OR THE LIKE.

OBVIOUSLY WE WOULDN'T INTERN MUSLIMS TODAY, NOR SHOULD WE.

BUT, UNDERSTANDING THAT VERY FEW PEOPLE OF THE MUSLIM FAITH ARE TERORISTS, THE FACT IS THAT SOME ARE.

AND IF WE ARE AT WAR WITH NATIONS THAT ARE MUSLIM - WHY OH WHY WOULD WE HAVE ANY PEOPLE OF THAT FAITH IN OUR MILITARY???

ARE WE THAT STUPID?? WHY WOULD WE TAKE ANY CHANCES WITH THE PRECIOUS LIVES OF OUR MILITARY AND WITH THE SECURITY OF OUR COUNTRY???

SO WE COULD SHOW EVERYONE HOW "OPEN-MINDED" AND NON- PREJUDICED WE ARE?? SO WE COULD NOT "DISCRIMINATE"??

I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND.

Without looks too uneducated about this, because most Americans are simply out of touch with what is happening in American....if these post are a good sample of Americans....or just people who know nothing but hate for our current leader and all things positive.

On the other hand, this young in Iran, is a big deal, to stand.... face to face and in a calm voice...unlike a crazy ranting person.... ask for the
Truth and Justice (accountability) for his country. A true Leader is born...Mahmoud Vahidnia ..may He live long and stay true to himself, people and country.

Too bad our Obammunist leader will not take such a stand - not even from the safety of his position and nation.

Power to the people!

Many stunned a student "dared" to criticize the Supreme Leader? LOL

This headline could be used for a story about anyone from Fox news criticizing Obama!

Big difference, PappyStu... The people that are now protesting in Iran, are from the same group that put the present regime in power in 1979.

How soon we forget. Just a tad difference from 1775.

The streets of Iran are somewhat like the streets in many american cities. Ripped with crime and violence these cities will not emerge safe until the PeopelStep up and unite against the problem..I don't mean having a march as they often do..I mean real conviction..Here where I am there can be a drive by leaving people dead in the streets and the next dsay there will be a march,,outrage..and the next day ...Nothing....Let's hope the Iranians will get behind this student and stay there..

Sorry Dick not that much difference. Those in 1775 actually fought with the British a few years before and then asked the French to help them fight the British. These are not the same group that took our Embassy. Their children maybe but at least they have seen the light as did those in 1775. I give them the benefit of the doubt because with their leaders we should have no doubt they will do anything they can to hurt us. I admire this young man's courage.

This Man has bigger balls and more fortitude than our current PU$$Y president. I would rather deal with a man that has spirit, a goal, and not afraid to voice his opinion. Our current president has no balls to stand up to forces that are threatening our country. He is a follower to the far left and marches lock step to what they dictate and he is way over his head in what is going on domestically and overseas. What a JackA$$!!!

Criticize Islam and they block the blog huh? Why is it that Islam is the only religion that can't be discussed or criticized? Why are the camel humpers not held to the same level of scrutiny as everyone else? Is it because they don't want Islam exposed for what it really is, a genocidal death cult? Muhammad is the minion of Satan. A pig who raped children, beheaded entire villages, was an egotistical maniac, and lied about visions in order to gain control, wealth, and power. Let's call this filth religion out for what it really is, a cult of intolerance and hate.

Since we can't say anything on the Fort Hood Blog spot, let me do it here.

They say in the government you shouldn't discriminate...
